Dr. Prabhu interacts with Police Officers at Mangaluru Police Commisionerate

On 5th Feb’2022, Dr. Ananth Prabhu G, Professor, Dept. of Computer Science & Engineering and Principal Investigator at the Digital Forensics and Cyber Security Centre interacted with the Sub-Inspectors from all the Police stations at the Mangaluru Police Commissionerate. Dr. Prabhu trained the officers on Cyber Crime. Dr. Prabhu spoke about the importance of Internet Safety and the best practices to be followed for responsible browsing. Prof. Srinivas, from the Dept. of Computer Science & Engineering assisted Dr. Prabhu in the practical demonstration. The training program was of 2-hour duration followed by Q&A. There were 30 Sub-Inspectors who were the beneficiaries of the session. DCP Hariram Shankar, IPS rendered the Vote of Thanks.
