Dr. Ananth Prabhu G, Professor in the Dept. of Computer Science & Engineering and Principal Investigator at the Digital Forensics and Cyber Security Centre of Excellence was recognized as one among 22 Achievers of the year by Prajavani newspaper and one among 22 Promising faces of 2022, for the services rendered in the field of Cyber Security.
Dr. Prabhu, with his mission of #CyberSafeIndia has been Cyber Law and Security Guest Faculty at the Karnataka Judicial Academy, Karnataka Police Academy, South West Command Center of CISF, Internal Security Academy of CRPF etc.
He is also the chief architect of the #CyberSafeKarnataka project of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Home Department, which was recently unveiled by the Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai, with a mission of making Karnataka the first Cyber Safe State in India.
