Bridge Course: MBA Academic Year 2021-22 Day One (4th Jan, 2022)

MBA Aspirants admitted to Sahyadri MBA on Management quota, undergo a 6-day Bridge course during 4th to 10th Jan, 2022. A series of sessions are lined up with an effort to bridge the gap in skills in an undergraduate, gaining entry to post graduate course.
During the Day One of the Bridge Course, the first session was handled by Dr. Vishal Samartha, Director-MBA Program. Referring to the new batch as “The new members of the family”, she gave the brief history of the college, introduction to the Chairman of the institution - Mr. Manjunath Bhandary and shared her experience on having positive attitude, and trying all opportunities that life throws to us.
Next session was facilitated by Prof. Ramesh K G, Dean-Strategic Planning. He started off the session with an interesting activity, where the students were separated from their comfort zone to find comfort in what they felt was “uncomfortable". He then gave few insights of the recent trends from all over the country and explained the importance of having a good network and collaboration.
The last event was an “Ice-Breaker” session facilitated by Prof. Padmanabha B, Dept. of Business Administration. It was an activity-based session - introducing self without revealing the name, thinking out of the box, recognizing what is present in our life but not noticed. First day came to an end with power packed sessions and huge learning outcomes to ponder upon.
