MBA-HR Students undergo a Workshop on “HR Analytics using R and PSPP”

With HR Analytics emerging as one of the most sought after skill in HR domain and with more and more organizations looking at HR Analytics as a Power word in the Resume of MBAs, students of Sahyadri MBA Department pursing their studies in HR specialization underwent a Workshop on “HR Analytics using R and PSPP” during 6th to 8th Jan and 14th Jan, 2022 on virtual mode facilitated by Prof. Brijesh Singh, Dept. of Management Studies, SJBIT, Bengaluru. Students were introduced to the new statistical software packages and tools as well as gained hands-on experience in solving HR related issues through HR Analytics. They even learnt the Add-ins in MS-Excel to conduct Data Analysis using MS Excel.
As an outcome of the workshop, students are now able to carry out Data Analysis related to HR using PSPP software. Their confidence in pursuing University project in fourth semester has also enhanced with fondness to the subject – HR Analytics.
