Commencement of Survey Camp for the students of Civil Engineering

A total of 64 students from the sixth semester of Dept. of Civil Engineering are participating in the extensive survey camp during 8th to 15th April 2022 at Siddapura. The camp is being conducted in and around Siddapura consisting of various projects like Highway Project, Water Supply & Sanitation Project, New Tank Project, and Restoration of Old tank. The primary objective of this program is to promote knowledge of different surveying techniques relevant to their professional and real work practice in Civil Engineering. Further, the camp would help students at acquiring teamwork and leadership skills. Students are accompanied by the faculty members along with Prof. Sunil Kumar, Camp Officer for the current academic year.
The event started with an address by Prof. Hemanth Prabhu, Head-Dept. of Civil Engineering, wherein he gave an insight into the importance of Survey Camp to the students and explained the practical aspects pertaining to various projects. Dr. Rajesha S, Principal and Prof. Balakrishna S S, Vice-Principal conveyed their best wishes to the students and faculty.
