Dean-SP invited as Chief Guest for the Annual NSS Camp of Canara College

Prof. Ramesh K G, Dean-Strategic Planning was invited as the Chief Guest for the Valedictory Function of Canara College NSS Unit's Annual NSS Camp held at Govt. High School, Kodmannu, Bantwal Taluk.
He addressed the students on how NSS activities can help them to develop their personality by providing various opportunities during their college days. He urged the students not to shy away from using these opportunities as it will give them confidence to face any situation. He narrated how NSS has helped him to take up lots of societal activity and contribute back to the society. He appreciated the college NSS unit for adopting Kodmannu Gram Panchayat and taking up various community initiatives in and around Kodmannu.
Ms. Premalatha V, Principal, Canara College; Ms. Seema Prabhu and Ms. Vani U S, NSS Officers, Mr. Athik Kumar, Village Accountant, Narikombu Village were present for the valedictory function. A total of 120 students have attended the Annual NSS Camp.
Mr. Ramesh K G, is an Alumni of Canara College and was the NSS secretary of NSS Unit. He won the Best University and State Level NSS volunteer Award as a student of Canara College during the year 1992-93.
