Session on 'Financial Statement Analysis' for MBAs

Dept. of Business Administration organized a session on 'Financial Statement Analysis' for the first year MBA students of batch 2021-23 on 23rd April 2022, Saturday from 9 am to 12 noon. The session was facilitated by CA Shravan Kumar B, qualified as Chartered Accountant in the year 2019 and is practicing since then.
To begin with, he introduced important sections relevant to understand the financial statement. He explained how to analyze the financial statements by using different ratios. He also briefed about the important aspects to keep in mind while an individual decides to invest in a particular listed company and also stressed on the impact of borrowings on the dividend distributed. Students were extremely interactive during the session.
